Our Team – Steve Zavilensky

Occupational Therapist

Steve is an occupational therapist with a passion for helping others and assisting people to live more fulfilling lives. Steve brings his award winning personality, New Yorker accent and positive outlook everywhere he goes as he tries to brighten the day of all those around him. He is also a fluent Russian speaker.

Before joining Zeal and Co Consulting Steve spent time working in community mental health, rehabilitation and as a personal trainer. Steve has experience working with a variety of clients, and has helped create personalised programs to assist people to improve their day-to-day lives.

Career Snapshot

In 2015 Steve graduated from Syracuse University in New York with a Bachelor’s degree in health science. Steve then worked as a personal trainer assisting clients to become healthier and stronger. In 2016 Steve moved to Sydney to complete a Master of Occupational Therapy degree at the University of Sydney. In 2018 Steve graduated and shortly after began working in a community mental health setting.

Following his experience in community mental health, Steve then spent some time working in an inpatient and day rehabilitation private hospital. Here Steve worked with inpatients and assisted in developing an OT day rehabilitation program.
