Our Team – Olivia Leonard
Olivia is an Occupational Therapist who is dedicated to helping people engage and participate in meaningful activities of their everyday lives. Olivia places emphasis on building and developing rapport with clients and collaboratively working to achieve goals and promote independence.
Prior to training as an occupational therapist, Olivia spent many years working as a lifeguard and swim teacher in a center for children with disabilities including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and physical disabilities; she credits her love for assisting people through meaningful activity to this experience.
Olivia completed a Bachelor of Social Science before graduated with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy in 2017 from University of Limerick, Ireland.
With dual Irish and Australian citizenship, it was a natural decision for Olivia to move to Australia and continue her professional development within Occupational Therapy.
Olivia has experience in various settings including acute general medicine, forensic mental health, pediatrics and elderly rehabilitation.
